This course is a practical approach to project control with a focus on earned value management using examples, activities and discussion. It covers effective techniques to control a project consistent with PMI standard practices. Participants will be able to assess the overall status of a project, both with subjective approaches and earned value.  The importance of the baseline as a foundation for control will be explored.

A basic project management course (such as Managing Projects and Leading People), or equivalent knowledge.
